Cue – The flute sleeve top

Posted in Random

Cue is one of these stores that are honestly perfect for any occasion. I have bought dresses to wear for weddings, others to wear for birthdays, tops and pants for work they have it all! We even have a running joke between my mom and my sister, that the dresses we buy from them are “the family dresses”. We are blessed enough to have almost the same size and therefore constantly look like we have a new outfit. WINNING. As you can imagine we can save a lot of money that way. DOUBLE WINNING.

Now though – How does a burnt orange top end up in my wardrobe…
I woke up Monday morning and told myself I need a new pair of work pants. A simple black pair, ok maybe 2 pairs, to update my work wardrobe. The ones that I was using previously were fab but well-loved. Honestly that was my true intention! Instead, I find myself thanking the sales assistant while she is packing away the burnt orange top. Go figure. Oh well guess who has to go back and do more shopping , lucky me.

The truth is I don’t need another top. I have so many. The fashionista in me however has decided that of course I do. Hi 5.

Now to the details :

I’m constantly drawn to CUE when I’m looking for work clothes . The fabrics wash well which is always a positive. It’s so easy to mix-and-match the products they have, particularly if you’re looking for work clothes. Everything at that store is stylish and sophisticated.

The great news is, for our overseas friends, you too can get your own delivery. I hear you get great constant updates on your delivery status, and expected delivery times for your goodies.

Here is a new thing from the too : AFTERPAY a Shop now, Pay later , Interest free option. Now this is dangerous. To find out more log on to the page.

The Textured Twill Flute Sleeve Top
is – $159.00 AUD

You can get it from a size 6-14 and you have a choice of two colours. Of course I chose the brightest one.

Its made from a Japanese textured twill fabric. They describe the sleeve as a flute shape with a relaxed flare hem. Love that feature. It has a contrasting black necktie detail at the V-neckline. This fabric has a unique finish too, so to maintain it, you need to twist it tightly whilst wet and allow it to dry twisted. You learn something new everyday. It only needs a light press.

The clothes are made in Australia. Love it.

Love the coolour! What do you think of wearing it with a nice pair of Jeans and boots? Or is it too elegant for jeans? Betty

    • I think with a figure hugging pair, it would look hot. Great question, much love.

Wow this is a stunning garment, it almost has a retro feel to it with the flared sleeve. I am obsessed with the colour though 🙂 Stunning!
