I will start doing a restaurant review to hopefully showcase just how many amazing eatries there are here in Perth Western Australia. Bon appetite ….
Reason for an outing:
Came across this place by chance as we were actually planning to go somewhere else for breakfast.
The weather was just perfect and what better excuse than to get out and enjoy a breakfast with the family. Besides, Sunday breakfasts are just the ideal way to end the weekend on a high.
Salt cod, baked egg, paprika, chives, soldiers
Priced at $18.
Customer service experience:
A little error at the start of our dining experience with the order. We ordered a large coffee and got a regular. They were apologetic. I personally would have liked a bit more warmth with the customer service, but it was non the less pleasant.
Atmosphere and style of the restaurant:
The vibe was exciting and alive!!! This place symbolised everything that is Fremantle.
We were seated at one of the long tables they had , that would seat approximately 20 people. I could also see the intimate smaller tables. I would have liked to be given the choice of where to sit, but didn’t mind were we where placed. The simple table decore was classy, minimalistic and included the use of repurposed bottles with my favorite flower in the world, the sunflower. How perfect. I wish I could have taken a million more photos. The building was a classic Fremantle warehouse design, that had been modernised and perfected in every way. I loved the open kitchen as it really does keep everyone in check and on there toes. Oh and they were flat out. Everyone new there place and there business.
I gauged this by visiting the toilet- after going to this place I want to renovate mine. Beautiful and clean.
The staff were very well presented. Perfect uniforms. I think they had maybe 2 floor managers. One was dressed very nicely, the other was honestly as bit too casual looking in comparison.
Would I go back and recommend this to others?
Overall rating: 4.5 star out of 5.
